Tbh after reading some comments I think everyone is at fault. Effspot provoked it by taking a picture of Farshad, and Farshad completely overreacted. Jesus Christ the whole car community is full of cancer.

lol this is true. although its just a picture, like who gives a cr*p? There faces are all over the internet. I hate the salomondrin videos anyways so it's kind of funny to see them getting all butthurt over a photo! Also there svipe fanboys are really funny to watch.

Never liked salomondrin's videos as well. Personally find them pretty boring, plus i seriously hate how he purposely shows off his success with titles like "paying ___ with cash" or other bullshits like that. You don't see STG, Shmee or effspot doing that

Shmee has gotten boring. I liked it better when he just did supercar spotting and maybe showed his R8 every now and then. Now he just does everything to show his face and it's more about his personality now more than anything. Like I don't want to see your face, I want to see the car. Also, I have completely lost track of how many goddamn cars he owns now...

Not sure who STG is.

Effspot, while he is problematic, his content is pretty f**king hilarious at times. Like the Japanese dudes giggling while taking pictures of the model's legs at Auto Salon, the two dudes going at it with blood while he was filming a 918 in Dubai, the leapers in London, and just a bunch of other hi jinks like that.

I also saw one of DLMphotos's vlogs from Car Week and they literally stood in the middle of the intersection rating cars by holding up signs with numbers on them. They gave people who drove Ferraris like a 7 while they gave someone driving a Volkswagen Beetle a 1. Car Week is supposed to be fun for everyone no matter what kind of car you drive, not petty sh*t like this.

I agree about shmee. Quite boring. STG is seen through glass, his content is usually pretty decent! DLM's videos are good too, also I found that rating video quite funny, hope to see them this year at car week.

At this point, it looks relatively hopeless.

Don't worry though, it's on its way ;)

That is incredibly sad. He had shittons of photos on that account dating all the way back to 2011 that we will probably never be able to see again. I just DM'd him on IG why he did it but he will most likely not respond. He never responds to any of my DMs for some reason...

It's andrewo for one final post to explain things since a couple people were wondering. I stopped using this site a few years ago and deleted my account a few days ago since I no longer have any interest in spotting. Unfortunately for various reasons, I think that spotters and spotting has earned a bad reputation in the car world. It didn't used to be this way but when one of the best car collectors in the world stops driving his LaFerrari at car week after one day because people were jumping out in front of his car, you know it has gone too far. I know people like that are the minority but it is what spotting has become known for today (at least where I live) and I do not want to be considered part of that group anymore.

I have always been an obsessed car enthusiast and to me, there is much more to the hobby than spotting. Most importantly, I have moved on to other things and wouldn't want someone I interact with now reading a bunch of things I wrote when I was 15. I'll always be going to events and look forward to remaining active in the hobby. Anyone interested can follow me on instagram where I post nothing but cars.

Jason: I enjoy seeing the cars you post on instagram but at the same time, I appreciate it when my privacy is respected. I sincerely apologize for not replying to your direct messages and do not mean any harm. I hope you can understand. I wish you the best and from what I have seen, it looks like you have been seeing some great cars lately. Fortunately all of my photos are saved on my computer so I did not lose anything.

Best regards,

Andrew
