Maybe I'll be able to meet some of you. This will be my 6th year going. If you're going and don't know very many good places to spot, let me know and I'll give you the ones I know, as well as what days/times to be there.

Also, what're some good places to spot during Car Week? I've been told pretty much the whole damn city.

Basically. Spotting central is actually Carmel, which is a bit south of Monterey. Here's Carmel, with an oval around where you'll find stuff (Ocean Ave is the main drag, where you're most likely to see cars driving):



Also, check the hotels. Like, all of them. Even the cheap ones. But especially the resorts in Pebble Beach (Spanish Bay, Casa Palmero) and in Carmel Valley (Quail, Carmel Valley Ranch). Also the Hilton and the Hyatt in Monterey (Italian Stampede stays at the Hilton, and last year I saw the Mansory Veyron at the Hyatt).

Do you know what days you're going? I might have an idea of what events you'll want to go to.

You guys make me feel really lucky I live 2 hours away, driving.

Haha nope.... Indiana plus school starting. I'm hoping to go with some friends when we start college though.

I agree, looking at photos (they are cool though, don't get me wrong) just isn't the same.
