Ferrari F40 spotted in Long Branch, New Jersey

    So I'm at a stop sign about to make a right on Norwood Ave to get gas at the Sunoco when a red car with a big wing zooms by. Sure enough this monster also pulls in to fill up. An F40. @CarFan117 saw it last August cruising near Lake Takanassee. I asked the owner if he minded me taking a picture, and he said that it was no problem and to check out the inside, so I opened up the driver's side door. Only 9037 miles on it. He said he only takes it out once a year. I still can't believe it.

These are one of my favorite Ferraris for sure! I don’t know why, there’s just something about the body shape. I love the tail lights.

@OC33 Perhaps, but I feel as though through over 12 years of living in the area, given the car has ≈5,200 miles on it, I would have seen it at some point.

And yes, there are multiple F50s in Florida, but I only know of 4 including the supposed one on Jupiter Island, so there's still a good chance that's the one. Jupiter Island has multiple collectible Ferraris (F40, silver LaFerrari, and a gray 458 Speciale Aperta which I've seen myself) and I'm sure at least one collector would have connections with the dealer down in Fort Lauderdale.

Thanks FOSC! I guess he doesn't want to put too many miles on it? It's probably expensive to run too, but then again if you can afford an F40... If it were mine, I'd drive it all the time for sure
@mrauto No, it wasn't Fux. I wish it was though, I really want to meet that guy. And I'm pretty sure he doesn't own an F40. Do you know if he still does his Red Bank car show? I know he stopped bringing his cars to the restaurant...

WOW! Supposedly there is an F50 on Jupiter Island near my spotting locations, but out of 12 years of spotting around here, it has only been seen once by my dad out of everyone I know.
