Other Kit Car spotted in Downers Grove, Illinois

Details on This Other Kit Car:

I just found this shot on my old files. This is a replica of the car used in the movie "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang". The horn sounded so cool and the plate said "GEN 11". What movie cars (real or replica) have you spotted?

It only got better for him too! He was then also in a Carry On Film! He was one of the soldiers walking through the desert in the Carry On Follow That Camel! He was the soldier that you can see falling over while he walks through the desert. He falls on his knees lol!

I've got an interesting story about the DB5 from James Bond Films actually. Quite a while back when that was the main car in the films, it was flown to an Airport which my Dads Dad worked at. My Dads Dad was in charge of looking after all of the cargo flown into the airport at the time. So luckily, he was working the day that the REAL James Bond DB5 was flown into that particular airport! So, my Dads Dad went onto the plane, got into the drivers seat of the DB5, and drove it off the plane and to the destination where the car was meant to go! So, he got to drive the Real DB5. He said it even had all the crazy gadgets, buttons and whatever else there was with the car! That's my cool story about my Grandad being very lucky with that!

Well it could have been a real one, i diden't see the difference, after all there is always more than one of a movie car, i don't remember the exact amounth of Dodge Challenger's there have been used for the Duke's of Hazard but it was more than 400, some of them were pristine for close up's, but most were rubbish and just looked like the General Lee to use for stunt's and crashes. James Bond's Db5 was also not just one car there were three or four of them, three for the old bond movie's and one more for the more recent Skyfall.
