i got told by the porsche dealership guy that they arent going to be in NZ until august and october? would love to see that pic??

There was a 918 at the Porsche Dealership in Grey Lynn about a week ago. The first one I saw was in a cleaning shop, but I ain't gonna post it. So, there are 2 918's in NZ, and I've seen both :) :)

was the 918 the one that was at the Giltrap? over the weekend?

Luke I have driven three, all on a track and I to say that Lamborghini hit a home run with this car.

Thanks West! Maybe I will catch him again one day if he drives past. I can tell you now though, I'll never catch him if I'm driving. The way he floored it away from the lights was insane! The acceleration is just immense.

Luke you may not have a lot of exotics roaming around in your home town, but when these cars do hit the street you are always there to catch them! Well done on all your spots my friend!

This was the first, and possibly the last time I'll see it on the road. These are incredibly rare in NZ, and that exhaust crackle will just have to stay in my memory :) Hopefully I'll see this again though!!

Luke that crackle is one of the coolest sounds a car guy can hear. We have a local owner who really plays his exhaust like a musical instrument every chance he can lol.

I love this car West! To spot one first of all was incredible. I only spotted it cause I heard him come flying up the road. Then I managed to catch it at the lights. As you can imagine, I was literally so happy with this find. It's probably my rarest find for NZ roads tbh this year! This actually sounds insane too! He floored it and as he changed gear, that crackle made me smile! The crackle of the exhaust is just music to the ears!

Congrats on your first Huracan spot Luke. What are your thoughts on this car? It sounds pretty cool right?

Thanks Jackson. But it's just unfair tbh. This is one of NZ's rarest spots so far, but only 14 people acknowledge it. People seeing Paganis all day in America, London, Dubai right now, but me seeing a Lamborghini Huracan has made my year so far! Yes, a Lamborghini and I'm stoked.

I guess when people actually realise how small NZ is compared to America with population and country size, then maybe others will acknowledge that seeing a Ferrari or Lambo or possibly even a Maserati is incredibly rare. New Zealand isn't that big of a country and not many millionaires are here, so exotics are not common by any means like America. Even though NZ has the highest Ferrari sale per capita ratio in the world, it's still incredibly hard to find them. Anyway, I'll keep posting, but not as much as I used to, only when I see something that others would like to see :)
