    This amazing beautiful Lamborghini Gallardo Valentino Balboni LP 550-2 screamed by me completely unexpectedly one early morning. The next night, I saw it again on the same road, going the other way. This is a very special spot because, 1. This is my first Lamborghini I have ever seen, 2. THIS MAKES ME A HERO MEMBER!!!!!

Yep! The V6 and V6 S F-Types are offered with 6MT now on the RWD models (AWD is 8AT only). There is an upcoming 911 GT that will be essentially a GT3 without the wing, but unlike the GT3 the GT will be 6MT only. Plus, I have also heard that the next GT3 will offer a 6MT along with the PDK.

As far as driving a manual in traffic goes....it's not as much hard as it is annoying. I think most people probably try to drive just like they do in an automatic, so whenever the person in front of them moves up three feet, they move up three feet. I just stop really close to the person in front of me so I won't be as obligated to move up three feet every time the person in front of me does. Also, traffic is gonna suck regardless of transmission, so I figure the fun and involvement of a manual trans on curvy backroads outweighs the so called "difficulties" of driving it in traffic.

I'd say so. I know a lot of people who say that in traffic a manual is difficult, but I agree with you. Some F-types and 911 GT3s are going manual aren't they?

But considering very few exotics are raced competitively or even tracked with any regularity, I don't see the need to put an automatic in everything. Sure, it'll to appeal to the numbers-obsessed, but in all honesty when are you ever going to notice a difference in a 0-60 run of 3.8 seconds with the manual and 3.5 seconds with the automatic? Is it just for bragging rights?

Yeah. In something like an Aventador, an auto would be fine, but in my opinion, most everything other than some supercars and hypercars should be manual. Especially being designed for someone who would want it like that. By the way, a friend recently sat in this car, so I could either ask him, or maybe I'll see it again! (To see if it's manual.)

But in the modern performance world, numbers on paper seem to trump involvement, so that's why we don't have manual exotics anymore.

Wonder if this one had the manual transmission. It would make it an even more special spotting if it did.
