    A Classic gt40 downtown Pleasanton, maybe a replica. I was driving home from adopting a kitten and I saw this car. It looked pretty nice, the spec was a bit wierd but it did look like an original. It had historical plates but it also had newer looking brakes so I’m not sure if it is an original or a replica, but still very cool either way. Tell me if there are any other key giveaways that it is a replica or an original.

after some extensive research I have figured out that it is probably a superformance gt40 r continuation/replica. I think they got the historical plates through a loophole in the law to change emission regulations for the car. I looked on classic.com and one with the same spec was sold in this area.
