Ferrari F12 spotted in Cary, North Carolina

Details on This Ferrari F12:

  • Location
    Cary, North Carolina
  • Description
I went berserk when I saw this F12 parked at a Starbucks in the Arboretum Plaza in Cary! The owner was having a cup of coffee with the owner of a Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series. He told me he used to own an Aston Martin V12 Vantage but sold it to buy this F12. On a side note, what do you think of the angle/edit? I guarantee I didn't change the colors, but I did dull the background as an experiment. If that's not allowed, tell me, and I'll gladly take it down and post a different edit : )

Thanks guys!

Brendon - Hey, at least you're being honest! The white definitely looks a bit weird in this shot. It's probably because there isn't a ton of contrast with the rest of the picture, and the buildings behind me made some difficult shadows to work with. I think if the car was red or yellow, it might be a bit better. But two more F12's are going to be making their presence felt in Raleigh soon, so maybe I'll get to experiment around with an F12 of a different color.

DjShift - Yeah....ever since I joined ED it's been like that. I don't have a great camera though, so I think it's accented here. The HQ photos were probably taking up tons and tons of room on the server though. ES could either host this as a ~100KB image or ~2MB image, and the HQ shots were taking up too much room.

Has anyone else noticed that now that ES doesn't support high quality uploads, if you post a picture with a lot of details (like that tree and bush) it makes a symmetrical pattern on the object similar to a psychedelics trip.

Anyways, great spot and shot!!!
I like the editing. Certainly stands out from the rest of the pictures on the home page.

Not a big fan of the edit (selective coloring isn't perfect), and the angle is a bit extreme. But I bet you got better photos. :)

Thanks guys! I'll probably post a different angle of this at some point, and will do the same with the SLS!

Nick I thought your SLS Black series shot was excellent. This is a great follow up with this perfect F12.
