Ferrari 599GTB spotted in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin

Details on This Ferrari 599GTB:

  • Location
    Lake Geneva, Wisconsin
  • Description
Spotted this stunning Ferrari 599 parked in downtown Lake Geneva today. I had come down for a day trip and right as we enter, I found this and a 458 Spider cruising together. I love Lake Geneva! By the way, it was interesting seeing an exotic from North Carolina in Wisconsin haha

I'm not sure. There's a ton in North Raleigh that haven't ever been spotted, including a Gallardo SuperL and a ton of Ferrari's and McLarens, so that kind of eschews the number of cars I have documented. I know of about 25 Ferrari's and 10 Lamborghini's in the Raleigh/Cary area, although I'm sure there are way more that no one has spotted yet. Tons of Maserati's and maybe 15 Bentley's as well.

Brendon I have a spreadsheet of all the known exotic cars registered in NC, lol. It's taken about a month (and some other ES users) to really populate it, but NC actually has a pretty impressive amount of exotics. Also, I follow a Ferrari forum fairly closely, so when something happens in NC, I usually know about it. Sometimes I check a McLaren forum as well, because there's a guy in Raleigh who's getting a P1 who is a huge McLaren fan (which is where I found out that he will be selling his 2014 12C 50th Anniv. Edition for an orange 2015 650S Spider, which he should get within the next two weeks or so).

That's what it looked like but I couldn't read what it said for the state.

They are really generic; white with black letters, and either the top or bottom (can't remember) of the tag says North Carolina.

Parker I'm not sure of the model year as it didn't show up. I've added other stuff though!

Thanks guys. The 458 had temp tags I don't know where they were from. If you could find a pic for me of the temp tags for NC I'll let you know. Not everyday you see an exotic from NC in wisconsin!

Flaco - There's one that I think must be in Durham or Chapel Hill. The owner used to have an F430 Scuderia. Also, someone who owns a 16M Scuderia Spider is moving to Cary, so we'll have that to keep our eyes peeled for.

Huh. I have never seen this before (or any other 599 for that matter), and there are very few of these in NC, so I'm glad to see one with local plates. I searched around for a bit to try to find some info about this but the owner either just bought this or just sold it. Did the 458 Spider also have NC plates?

Anyway, nice spotting! The angle is really good!
