Thanks for taking the time to help Rupert, but I did know that. My camera doesn't even have custom shutter speeds but if it did, I would definitely try to pan.

@torontoposts - Nice Lambo! You probably know this but do you have shutter priority and continuous focus on your camera? If so you can acheive a similar effect by setting the shutter speed to anywhere on or between 1/100-1/60 sec in camera and get shots like this without any editing. The only drawback is that you won't have a great hit rate (so maybe stick to 1/100), but you'll be dead chuffed with the results.

On, then that isn't too bad. They were already oval-like in the original shot as it was going way too fast!
