    Spotted this insane 2014 V10 R8 in Charlotte. My mom had just pulled into a gas station a bit north of SouthPark, and this pulled right up to the stop light at the same time. I'd prefer mine have a six speed manual, but what do you think?

Thanks man! And no, I've spotted one other that I posted a while back. It's been quite some time since I've seen a facelifted R8...they don't seem to be very popular here. Gated manual V8 models are the most common R8s around here, not that R8s are common in NC by any stretch though.

Thanks West! I guess I'm kind of a purist and don't like how dual clutch autos have replaced manuals in everything except the V8 Vantage. Have you gotten to drive both of them? I'm curious as to how the V10 feels compared to the V8. Almost all of the R8s I've seen up here in NC have been manuals except for a few with out of state license plates....not sure why they were so popular here, but I sure can't point the owners here for Audi's decision to pull the manual on the new R8.

I like the manual on the V8 version but for the V10 I prefer the paddles. Great shot and spot Nick.

Nice find! This seems like the most popular colors for an R8. I'd get something that stands out more though.

Thanks Parker! Nope it's still the same Cooplix S3 I've been using for forever, one of these days I'm gonna upgrade to a DSLR but that hasn't happened yet. I haven't seen much lately either (or at least, not much that I have gotten pics of).

Wow! This one of my favorite shots from you. Was it taken with a different camera? L+F! Hopefully I can spot a 2014 R8 soon! I love what they did with the lights. Only thing ive seen in the past 3 weeks is a Ghibli today and that's nothing too exciting

Did you notice what kind of license plate it had on it? The one I spotted had a Texas dealer plate on it at the time.
