    Haven't seen much yet this year, so I thought I'd post some older spottings. This was one of the first exotics I spotted in 2014. I just barely had a chance to grab the camera out of my mom's car and run over to the Lowes Foods gas station to snap some pics.

The concept definitely looked awesome! The Mk4 Supra turbo was arguably my favorite Japanese car ever...they're pretty rare (saw only my third or fourth one a few weeks ago in Charlotte) but they are awesome and blazingly quick for their time. Yes it's a joint effort with BMW. I just hope that Toyota does indeed produce it, and they produce it as a Toyota instead of a Lexus. I also hope they offer it with a turbocharged inline six and a manual transmission, but this is Toyota that we're talking about so I'm not really holding my breath, unfortunately.

Nick what are your thoughts on the replacement Supra? If the final design looks as good as the photos It will be a huge seller. This will be a BMW/Toyota joint effort right?

Thanks West, I've been reading about the new NSX too. Honestly, it doesn't really do it for me though. I mean it looks exotic, but looks a lot like an R8 (at least to me). I'm sure it will be a great performing car though!

Nick nice find. I am excited to hear that Acura will finally build a new car to replace this one! I always loved this design of this car. The only thing I always hoped for was during it's long production that it would end with a V8.

Thanks Ryan! I'd take an NSX over most modern exotics because of its simplicity and driveability, plus it's understated enough to pass by most non-car people, so I wouldn't get mobbed everywhere I went lol.

Thanks man! Usually my camera doesn't do too well in the evening (it's darker than it appears), but I guess there was enough light from under the canopy to get decent pics from it!

Thanks William! This was at the Lowes Foods at NC50/NC42, and I've seen it one other time heading west on Ten-Ten Rd, near Lake Wheeler Rd. I've seen other black NSXs in Raleigh though, so it may have been a different one you saw.
