Sorry Dawid, I've neglected to tell you how much I appreciate your photo of this car. You've taken a very strong photo of a powerful car in far from optimum conditions. I can't imagine a better photo coming from this setting.

I must point out that neither of your two comments on this thread have been about cars...

Yet another poetic masterpiece! I've reread your response several times, each time delighted in detecting yet another subtle cleverality or invented word. I particularly enjoy your repetition in multiple tenses and alliterative orgy. Somewhere in there you pissed off Bonehead, but I dare say, I doubt that's a challenge. It is indeed good to chat with you again, I must admit I'd been hunting for a comment from you for a while. I had also noticed ES decided to provide more space for comments, though I'd be willing to bet they didn't count on people using it to write more. It's probably there so people could do things like this:

I
III
IIIII
IIIIIII
IIIIIIIII
IIIIIIIIIII
IIIIIIIIIIIII

It's the dawn of a new T-G ing & the few lazy birds still hanging around are beginning to panic in this shabby outpost of a former stagecoach stop, darkening the skies in frightful flightful fleeing. I've been chosen to go forth & do some neck-wringing for the clan, get us sum boids, as opposed to all the hand-wringing that accompanied my last post here-in. Before I do, a brief rsvp. Ointy, it's a pleasure to share the same proverbial page with you once again, following the international incident of the thinly disguised hovercraft in the hidden garage in Northern Europe, I recall. Whatever I may have written, or typed, or tapped is easily trumped by your 1 phrase "...perhaps he rolls a Royce." Classic. It must become a song lyric. I continue to strive for wealth, my individuality is intact however worthless, & immortality is overrated. Besides which, nobody gets out of here alive. Always been a fan of Uma's, & would be very happy to reprise her in any of her Rolls. I apologizzle for inspiring you to think, sounds like it hurt. I hope the migraine passes before the feast. Spotting/ thinking? Thinking/spotting? No, NO! Just goes to show... something? Take 2 Advil, bury them in a spoonful of cranberry sauce, consume with turkey, just as my mommy used to disguise my aspirin in strawberry jelly. Finally: I just discovered that the comment space is ever-expanding, seemingly endless real estate. I used to think that it was somewhat limited by this rectangle-plus. I'm going to begin to write, type, tap longer comments without restraint, since they are apparently read, occasionally.

Oh Ep, whatever sinister interpretation of a bowel movement that this photo first brought upon me was instantly pacified by the oozing of your literarily sumptuous statement. For the first time on this site (and this year actually), I have been motivated to think. Which blows. Especially because you're right, and I thought I was. I went from thinking "rich a***ole", to "maybe Willy Wonka really does exist, and perhaps he rolls a Royce". Everybody gives that one kid cr*p 'cause he acts like a girl or looks and behaves like a freak; Everybody loves Queen and some people love Steely Dan. Who's to say whether the person behind this design has more to be envied than just wealth? Where wealth has always been common, individuality and immortality have always been elusive. Okay, I've spoken my logical piece, pitifully attempted to combat your thesaurical wizardry and conceded the point. In regard to satisfying my own selfish desire to wield my expression violently upon those who can stomach to read more than 17 words in a post, let me say this: If it came down to receiving this car as a gift or reprising a roll other than Uma's in "Kill Bill", then you may as well order me 12 pints of O-positive and get the defribillator out. Believe it or not, I'm inclined to think the Skins have never looked this bad.

I must stand up for this car, & stand up tall for what it represents. No, I would not pay $ for this car, I couldn't. I do not long for it to reside in my garage. I don't desire to be seen driving this car, although I wouldn't be able to actually see this flocking whilst drivinating seated atop those fine tan Connolly hides. This owner is full-tilt committed to a personal statement of self. Not just too much money, but too much expression & fulfillment, as if you could have too much of any of those 3 things. I would love to see the clothes that the owner chooses to wear. I am prepared to be surprised. The car is an avatar to the outrageous, whimsical, & daring. I am reminded that I could use more of those qualities in my life. During the past season, I recall a few cars, mostly Bentley Continentals, I think, with loud, pink paint jobs. I also recall they were accused of being tasteless, & they represented the paucity of tastefulness. I believe that striving to be tasteful is one of nadirs of inconsequential human characteristics. This car also belongs in the upcoming conversation about judging the quality photos vs the exotictissity of the cars. See Horse Power's red Audi R8 with the big black wing daytime shot in Atlanta for a taste of that conversation. An extremely worthy matter for us all. The worst thing about this automobile is that it wears the Burgundy & Gold of the Washington Redskins. The Skins have never looked this good.

Sorry for saying this, but I actually don't mind it. Especially if the purple was dark green.

There's a Bentley Continental GTC here in Los Angeles that has a black velvet wrap similar to the 599 "Furrari". Nice spot though!
