@imola_be oh thanks! Looked it up. I had no idea the wing wasn’t exclusive to the Turbo. Still happy I spotted this though at it is a beautiful car. There is even a guy who collects 930 series Porches and parks them in a garage at a shopping center in Clarendon next to the Apple store lol.

Hello, i don't say it's a "fake" but it is not a Turbo, it's "just" a 911 Carrera targa, maybe a sport. Back in the days when they were sold new customers had the possibility to order their 911 with or without a rear spoiler, called whale tail.
If you look carefully at the rear spoiler you'll see that the turbo spoiler is built more heavier, especially the matt black (plastic) side parts of the spoiler. iff you look at the wheelarches, the wheelarches of a turbo are bigger/ wider and like you say yourself there should be "Turbo" on the engine cover and not Carrera. But still a very nice example of a Porsche 911 you spotted.

@imola_be are you sure it’s fake? I looked at pictures of Targa Turbos and they look exactly like this one. The only weird thing is on the back this one says “Carrera” and not “Turbo”. But it has the same exact wing as the other ones. I did see one Targa that said “Carrera” that was auctioned and it was called “Targa Sport”. I’m really confused now.

Sorry to disappoint you, but it's not a Turbo, compare the rear spoiler and wheelarches to a real one and you'll see the differences. But nice spot anyway

Thanks guys! Don’t know the production number but these are pretty rare! I only found one for sale on auction and it recently sold for 100K and it had 60,000 miles!
