    Saw this GT3 in Beverly Hills wasn't even a surprise for beverly hills. The best combo i saw there was a Ferrari 488 GTB w a Cullinan and some Aston Martin I couldn’t tell what type

Yes we were all kind of right. production started on the 996 in 1997 and was replaced by the 997 in 2004 but some of the higher end 996s such as the GT3 or GT2 were produced until 2006 so the exact year is unknown but sometime between then.

Ah I see. But its still a 911 - its just of the 996 generation.

Wait now I'm confused.. It sounds like we're in agreement that this car is a GT3. What was the initial not a 911 gt3 comment about? or is it that we're agreeing the car next to it is a GT3?
