Details on This Other Vintage:

  • Location
    Winnetka, Illinois
  • Description
A few of you wanted to see it, so here is the Jensen Interceptor I saw in Winnetka a few weeks ago. I was just about the leave when this pulled up to the intersection by Green Bay, so I took a shot of this and left. Never thought I'd see one, let alone spot one! The plate said "INTRCPT".

I guess I didn't think about that. And to be honest I would have! To be able to own an exotic for that little is amazing, depending on the amount of work it needs. I still have not even seen an Aventador SV yet!

That's quite expensive for a car like that in NZ honestly. Classic cars can range in price depending on rarity. I saw a DB5 for sale for $299,000... And a 250GTO Ferrari for $1.2 million dollars NZ currency... So they are fairly expensive lol! I did see a Rolls Royce Silver Spirit for $12,000 and I was so tempted to buy it! LOL :)
I will be attending a very large car show next year, which have some of the rarest cars in the world, and in NZ there! So hopefully this will be there :) I missed an Aventador SV last weekend in a show, so I want to spot it soon!!

Even though the currencies are different between the US and NZ, that seems a bit too low for a car this rare.

Jackson see one in person and that opinion will change. Luke I bet one of the Auckland or Christchurch spotters (hopefully you included) will see it soon, it actually sounded pretty nice as well! :)
