The gas cap definitely seems to be wrong because in all the pics i've seen it was shorter, wider and flatter than this and didn't look like a door knob. The rear light is correct like you said, but there are a few other things that seem to be wrong as you can probably see in these pictures; http://www.rmauctions.com/featurecars.cfm?SaleCode=MO07&CarID=r142&fc=0#. The car seems to be wrong to me, but i could be wrong.

It is a replica because real ones are worth like $8 million, but nice spot! This is quite a good replica, but there are some things that are wrong; the rear light, plate bracket and gas cap are wrong plus a few other things.
