The prices really depend on how good of quality polarizer you get.

Yes definitely worth getting a polarizer! Makes such a big difference when shooting cars. They also double as a lens protector :P

@21Luke21 I use a nikon D3100 w/18-55 + Polarizing filter. Also use lightroom quite a bit.
