Maserati GranTurismo spotted in Raleigh, North Carolina

    Haven't seen much lately so I've resorted to scouring through my older spottings to find stuff to post. Was shooting an NSX in downtown Raleigh last August when this GranTurismo Sport roared by. I wasn't actually trying to find it, as I thought it was just passing through, but then we saw it park on Morgan St in front of the State Capitol building.

What I've learned with pocket digital cameras like I used for this is that the flash really distorts the color (and draws attention to yourself), so if possible turn the flash off and either hold the camera very steady or rest it on the sidewalk or a building. That way it exposes the shot for much longer and you can get those cool lines from the tail lights of passerbys : ) With my DSLR I just have to use a really slow shutter speed for shots like this and pans.

Yeah. I have basically no experience with night shots, not sure how I got this one at all. I did put it up on ES assuming you care to see it. And I'll look out for that shot of this! ;)

Thanks! I was still kind of a noob when I shot this so it's not as good as I could do now, but I guess it all comes with experience. I did get a decent front shot of it with cars driving past on the street that I might post sometime. I have so many of these things still to post that it's ridiculous. Lol
