Jaguar F-Type spotted in Arlington, Virginia

Details on This Jaguar F-Type:

  • Location
    Arlington, Virginia
  • Description
Date is random on this one too. My first Jaguar F-Type R AWD. And it just happened to be the sweet and sexier convertible. This V8 monster was speeding out of Georgetown onto Key Bridge heading into Arlington on its way home. Wonderfully specced as well.

@Fasteppy thanks man! Georgetown was weirdly quiet that day, and I was awaiting a traffic light so I had sufficient time to get all my settings worked out.

Great photo, Daniel. Ex spot & timing. It's rare to get an isolated shot in the streets of Georgetown. Good work.

Thanks guys! @EB-01, Georgetown(M Street), Georgetown Waterfront(Water Street (which is just under Georgetown) are really good for street spotting. Cars drive up and down the street often during the whole year and every day that's not raining. So basically the entire Georgetown area starting from Key Bridge and ending at the Four Seasons. I'd suggest a sunny weekend day from 12-6 and 8-10 or Friday night from 5-11. Some cars tend to show up after everyone leaves so they can just do some speed runs. Also Connecticut Avenue gets good but is really random; I wouldn't go there often. A bit further in Virginia you have Tyson's Galleria which is the best; you'll always see a bunch of exotics any day of the week at anytime. Just tour the entire parking lot/garage from top to bottom every row. The worst it can get are a few 911 Turbos and AMG Mercs/M BMWs. 12-4 and 6-10 are the best times for spotting there. All PM times of course. Check the Ritz-Carlton there as well. Also Coastal Flats/Brio at Tyson's Corner Center is good during spring, lunch time, or late dinner. There's also a car wash there and some exotics pop on over. Also check Dulles Town Center because it is near the Ferrari/Maserati/Lamborghini of Washington dealership and lots of cars go there so you'll see some stuff there. It's also close to the airport so you can catch some last minute spots before you leave or just after you arrive. Those are the best areas that I frequent. Best of luck if you're coming here!

Awesome shot Daniel! The F-Type R Convertible is really rare right now, they just replaced the V8 S with it earlier this year.
