Jaguar E-Type spotted in Ridgefield, Connecticut

    Memorial Day turned out well for me. This Jaguar was on Old South Salem Road. I am not sure if this is an E-Type because of it's grille

The reason i'm thinking it's the racing one is due to it not having the grille or the grille guard and the placement of the lights.

The D-Type looks similar but has a few extra vents in the front or an extra light for the racing edition.

So that means what you spotted is either some private racing E-Type similar to this; http://www.flickr.com/photos/benjiauto/5039623814/ or it's a replica of one. Being around Concours time it's most likely an authentic that just hasn't been professionally photographed and posted on google before.
