there is a story behind the weird color! DMC Delorean was ran by General Motors President back in the 1980's, he was a cocaine trafficer person dude. but the delorean was like the ford model T you can get it any any color you want as long as its black. the delorean same thing but stainless god forsaken steel. when GMs president got busted for the drugs literally boat loads of these cars i mean literally BOATS selling these cars for the fraction of the price. (i know this because my dads buddy got two of them at the Long Beach freight docks.) so there was a mass selling of deloreans and people started painting them!
