Well, yes. Not a bad old S.2 Bentley standard saloon, with a couple of unusual features. Primarily the "Webasto" folding sunroof. Not a very convincing 'paint shop' rendition of a Rolls-Royce factory paint color called Regal Red. And the tires...a total loss as always.

And the "Prince of England" owned the car. Which Prince? Prince Charles, Prince Michael of Kent, William, Harry? If the Royal family had owned every Rolls-Royce or Bentley that is attributed to them, they'd have had 4 or 5 thousand of them. The Royal family's cars are well documented.

Finally, the value issue is quite right. These cars sell at very low prices because they have almost always been so poorly kept. Therefore needing, literally tens of thousands spent on them the day you purchase the car. My general 'rule of thumb' is that you will essentially double the price you pay. Also, a right hand drive car will generally sell in the U.S. for about 50% of the price it would fetch in a country that uses RHD.

A lot of guys in the garage were like "Wow, only 45,000 miles! The Prince of England must have had a big collection". I was very baffled when I heard that it was only worth $20,000 as it sits right now.

IN CASE EVERYBODY IS WONDERING IF THE MOBIL STATION SPOTS ARE LEGIT: They are. It's just that there is this one mechanic who works there that is completely honest with everybody. For instance, the doors on my mom's Honda Odyssey kept breaking, and my mom took her van down to Danbury Honda, and ended up paying $600.00 every time the doors broke. My mom went down here one day to get the transmission fixed. It got fixed, but asked the mechanic if he could take a look at the doors. Turned out all they need was lube with no extra charge this entire time. That's why people take their classic cars down there often
