In answer to importing a Tuscan (something I also plan on doing) it is not hard. Once they are 15 years old (to the month) you can import them. Do lots of research on the cars and the common problems, have it examined, be very careful with the purchase too, and that the car has not been written off in the past. Lots of resources on line to read up on process and costs, but as a rule of thumb I suggest you consider the current UK pound cost, and multiply that by three to get the Canadian dollar cost - this allows for the exchange, shipping, duties, and surprises.

There were about 8 of these imported to Canada, and 2 to the USA (surprisingly from new the two in the USA are right hand drive - bit of a story there).
The 8 Canadian cars came in via Toronto at TVR North America. Of these 8 one is in Winnepeg, one in Alberta and the rest in Ontario.
There have also been a number (who knows how many) brought in as private imports in the last few years as they are over 15 years old. I know of a couple.
