I'm not really a fan, I must say. I've never been into old race cars, just luxury cars.

I like the R8 greatly (as one may have noticed by my username), with the exception of the GT. Now, it's alright, but I don't like the little carbon fiber bits or spoiler all that much.

I'm also very fond of modern Audis. I'm not completely old fashioned, but you may have noticed that most of the cars I like are quite conservative.

I like the F40 and 355 (as well as others), and I like just about every modern Aston (Cygnet and One-77 not included). I also like every Rolls Royce, old or modern, same goes for Bentleys. I also quite like Jaguar and Maserati.

I know, but I'd build that house if I had the money. Also, you opinion seems to be the opposite of mine on many things, as I quite like the Pantera. And, why are we even having this stupid argument?

As I've stated many times:
-This is my favorite house: http://i.imgur.com/b27bvow.jpg
-My favorite music is from Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Tony Bennett.
-And I know for a fact that old cars (particularly luxury ones from the late 20s and 30s) are the best.

The old cars are probably too out dated for him. I love old cars more than the new ones

Your 458 will be that way in about 25 years. All cars end up that way. What's so bad about old things, exactly? The makers of half the music I listen to are either dead or near to it. Older things simply were better. Older music, older houses, older buildings, older cars, they are all simply better. Now there are some exceptions, I admit (the 458 is not one of them).

I think the scene is impressive, and I think the car is much more impressive. Well, a real one at least. The Duesenberg was the Veyron of its day.

A Duesy is much better. I'm not a massive fan of the 458's sound. The Quattroporte GTS has the best sound ever. Also, watch this for the yellow Duesey (seen mainly in the first 15 seconds, and some later), and tell me the 458 is better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sN183rJltNM

Don't forget the MP4-12C was being driven by James, not the Stig. The 458 was designed for the track as well, don't forget. If they had been driven by the same driver, their times would have been much different.

@zonka Not anymore. They used to be passion before the obsession with science came along.

@John Thank you, I was quite off with my guess.

Actually, Duesenbergs only go for around $1,000,000. Besides, a modern machine could never put together something like a Duesenberg, and unlike the Ferrari, it wasn't shaped by science. Despite this, it was still one of the fastest cars, and fast by today's standards.

Ferraris do not have the best craftsmanship. For instance, modern Ferraris have a problem with the plastic where it gets a strange sticky residue on it. I can tell you this because the problem started with the 348.

In my opinion they are the best. Not only do they have a level of craftsmanship and attention to detail that will never be matched again, but they have some of the greatest bodies to ever leave any factory/coach builder ever.
