Well, I suppose you could try to make that comparison Sam62. But it's the old "apples vs. oranges" argument. The Bugatti will not take four grown people, and their expensive luggage, to wherever it is you wanna go.

Sam62 - thanks for your comments. For some of you younger guys, it sometimes comes as a shock to hear the prices of these cars, when they were new. In the case of a Silver Spur like this one, around $140,000.00 US. That may sound low to modern ears. But that was the top of the market, at that time. A Mercedes 500 SEL was something around $80k at the time. So when you opted to go Rolls-Royce, you paid nearly twice as much money for the privilege.

Cal, a very nice spot of what is actually a Silver Spur. The long wheelbase version of the Silver Spirit. The wheel covers give this car away as an earlier version. Mason's Black, with Tan hide.
