Porsche 918 Spyder spotted in Charlotte, North Carolina

    I never thought I would actually see one of these, but then we pulled up to the intersection of Colony Rd. and Sharon Rd, and I saw this orange M3 in the turn lane for a Harris Teeter plaza. Then the 918 pulled up behind it! We followed them into the plaza, and they pulled up at the ABC shop. The owner was really nice, and let us all sit in it (it's VERY low and awkward). And the M3 is apparently a Lime Rock Edition (1 of 200) which makes it even rarer than the 918! Without a doubt my spot of the year!

For a daily driver, I'd definitely want the M3, though it had the automatic which is kind of a buzz killer (obviously I'd want the manual). For the around-town cruiser, the 918 would suffice. I didn't mean to photobomb this one lol. L/F from me!

Thanks! And yeah, the M3 is nice, but the 918...there are no words to describe how epic it is in person.
