One thing that helped me get better at photography was to find some pictures that I liked, and try to replicate the angle, lighting, etc. You can have the best photo editing software in the world, but that can only help to a certain degree if the original picture isn't very good. I just use the features in Google Photos to edit my pics, or sometimes I'll use Pixlr. Both of those are pretty solid and no cost.

Yeah, if possible try to shoot from a landscape (horizontal) perspective rather than portrait (vertical). There are occasional exceptions, but vertically-oriented pictures usually do not get featured unless the car is unbelievably rare.

Photo quality is taken into account when deciding which cars to feature. One big thing that helps photos get featured on here is making sure the car is completely within the frame of the photo, and isn't obscured by something else.

With your shot, the black GT3 is within the frame, but only about half of the red one is visible. If possible, either focus only on one car, or make sure that both cars are completely within the frame. A good recent example of focusing on just one car is FastMojo2's F430 Spider post (http://www.exoticspotter.com/ferrari-f430-jakarta-indonesia-271506) where there is another exotic visible, but it's clearly not the focus of the image. A good recent example of making sure multiple cars are visible is Range Rover's C8 combo (http://www.exoticspotter.com/chevrolet-corvette-z06-atlanta-georgia-271662) where each car is entirely within the frame of the picture.

As far as King_AM's GT3 post, it must have been approved by him or one of admins because I never touched it.
