The gt2 and the turbo are the only 911 models that share the side air intake which explains your confusion. I actually really like the yellow rims, I like the gt model Porsches to be in bright colors with loud contrasting, it's one of those things that make them stand out from the pack, as they should, they are race cars on the road, named for the FIA racing category they are designed to compete in, IMO they should be bright and loud like the race cars they are built to homologate. Without porsches racing background we may not even have these cars on the road to enjoy so why not make them bright like the cars in the races!
