    I was very excited to see this chrome GT2-RS. I missed it driving down a road but I later found it in a CVS parking lot. The owner also has or used to have a GT3-RS 4.0 in the same kind of wrap.

Andrew - I think I read that Porsche is considering offering a manual in the upcoming 991 GT3 RS. But it's just a rumor, so I wouldn't hold my breath. It's sure a shame that Porsche is doing away with manuals - PDK's may shift faster and be easier for a daily commute, but there's nothing like a proper manual, and not many do it better than Porsche.

You never know, Porsche might reintroduce a manual transmission in the future for the next generation RS's and name it a "special" edition and charge you 3 times the price of a normal RS. They do have a tendency to do that with all of their "limited" run editions, e.g. RS 4.0, Speedster.
