    You guys have no idea how nuts I went when I saw this. It was parked at a Starbucks in Cary, and the owner was having a cup of coffee with the owner of a new Ferrari F12. This has been running around the Raleigh area for a few months now, and I'm glad I finally saw it in the wild!!! The weird thing is, before yesterday, I had only seen one SLS in the wild. I saw two yesterday (the other was a convertible). Feedback is much appreciated : )

Knightdale has quite a few exotics but they pop up at the most random times! I'm pretty sure one day one of us will see the 918!

The 918 is bright purple, and is owned by Bob Ingram (former COO of GlaxoSmithKline) and Cam Ingram (his son). They, as I'm sure you've guessed by now, own the Ingram Collection in Durham. The 918 was delivered at Performance Porsche in Chapel Hill.

Edit: @DerpTheCandleGuy - Where did you hear about the 918 in Cary? I looked at the websites for all the local Porsche dealers and can't find anything... Do you think it's worth a call?

I was just in Raleigh/Knightdale "about a week ago :)." I was searching for that 918. Sadly, no 918. I think there is one at a dealership in Cary. I'm not sure. I did see a S65 and an Audi RS6.

I almost hate to say this, but it was there last weekend (a week and a half ago). The owner drove it away the following Monday, if what I've heard is accurate.

I have heard that the guy in Raleigh who has a 918, the guy who is getting a P1, and the LaFerrari owner are going to meet sometime in the next couple of months, most likely in Raleigh. If I manage to find out when and where they are meeting, I will definitely let you know.
