Ahh...I see. I thought it was because of how lowly saturated the car and plate were.

The car was standing there without its lights on, so I used the wrong settings. While I took the shot he turned the lights on. I still like it though. And no, it isn't selective coloring. I just brightened up the colors in the background =)
