    Saw this Lotus Exige today. Looks like a damn U.F.O, and it had tons of carbon fiber parts on it. Also, I apologize if the image is low-resolution, as when I upload photos to the website the quality seems to decrease for whatever reason.

I know exactly where this is. Seen lots of high end SUVs there but never any exotics. Its actually Asheville, not Hendersonville. Great spot!

I agree, they are very cool looking. Also, I think that the tape might be there to protect against rock chips, since I think the owner of this Lotus takes it on dirt trails and/or rallies it, as I've seen it multiple times before this and most of those times it was coated in dirt and dust.
