I never parked in 2 spots when I drove my Ferrari. If you are afraid of scratching your car, then you might as well not drive it at all.

I never take 2 spots. I just park far away. If I can't find anything decent I just park next to a curb as close as possible to it or next to a handicap spot since they are usually big enough for 1 1/2 cars.
