Description After being a carspotter for so many years I finally managed to DRIVE a supercar for the first time. I rented this beater Gallardo LP550-2 with 70k miles for only $150/day and drove it for 100 miles.
@Cars_of_WI At low speed the car feels stiff and the steering wheel is pretty heavy, due to the car's condition the car also makes some rattling noises at high speed. The AMT transmission is also pretty uncomfortable in traffic but not so bad when you're driving normally. Due to the car being a RWD it does not have a lot of grip and sometimes you will feel the oversteer of the rear wheel when you hit the throttle hard and it's terrifying.
But afterall the driving experience is pretty engaging, the car is savage, incredibly loud and feels super fun. I hit up to 120 miles on the highway (They don't have a lot of highway patrol cop cars here in China and police here rarely pulls you over on highways, you just need to look for the speed cameras). Also fortunately I didn't wreck it and this beater supercar didn't brake down or catch fire (Temperature was 95F at the day I rented it). And it only costed me $150 overall to rent it!
