I do remember now, but I'm not super happy to have lost that murcielago , I was really looking forward to spotting it! Oh well, I'll just get a shot of the Aventador and all will be well.

You know the owner of the Aventador .. also owns the Saleen s7 and a couple Ford GT's seen here in the area. He also had the Red Murcielago I posted.. but he traded it for the Aventador.

@ viper, you lucky! The Aventador is my favorite car! I would bet that sitting in a car like that was very cool, still, AMAZING combo! I saw these two the same day as well!

The Gallardo is an Auto. and the orange one is owned by a co worker. 8) I saw the Gallardo and texted the owner of the Aventador to bring it up. I got to sit in it.. was pretty cool.

Wow, that must have been quite the experience, I hope someday ill feel that rush, was it an LP560, or a L140? Either way that's awesome, the best car I've ever piloted is my brothers mustang cobra.

Ah, that sucks, but still awesome lol. Of the four Gallardos I've seen around here, at least two are manuals (I haven't been able to see what the orange one is yet).

I remember last summer when we were swimming off my dad's boat in the canal down in LeClaire, I heard something hauling ass towards us along Great River Rd. It sounded amazing, like two sportbikes and yet not quite like two sportbikes, it was just a strange and unique, yet very awesome sound. As it got closer and finally past the trees on a clear stretch where we could see it, it was the blue Gallardo Spyder flying by at full throttle and the sound of the car echoing all throughout the canal and the hills around us was utterly incredible.

I will say that when I drove a Gallardo last year at Autobahn Raceway in Joliet, it was nothing short of amazing. The sound of that V10 screaming right behind me as I was driving all-out around that track, with both an F430 and an F430 Scuderia screaming and squealing their tires through the curves in front of me, was something I'll never forget. Just remembering those sounds still sends chills up and down my spine.

Incredible spot! I've seen this blue Gallardo Spyder a couple times but have never been able to "spot" it. Seems of all the Gallardos in the QC, this is the one that's the hardest to find.

Were you able to see if this one is a manual?
