You haven't seen the other figures yet. Some are reasonable, some are not. The standard boxster costs about $55-60k, Indonesia offers it for about $150k including import fee. The point is our tax we pay for it isn't completely going for nation building purpose, only a fraction of it will go to the nation's wallet.

Wow, so it's almost the same as Indonesia. But here it can be ridiculous. The tax could be up to 200% or even more. I had a little research for a Rapide, the base price in US is about $200k, and in Indonesia it's $450-630k, and then the RR Ghost costs about $250k, but in Indonesia it costs $1.3 million off the road (not joking).

100% first registration fee here on a car overt about US$70k. So basically any supercar is double the price it should be!

Maybe they go through Jebsen (I think they are the importer) or SPS. Reckon it's safer to import it here first then flatbed it over to China.

Really? I mean, if it were meant to be sent to China, why should it be delivered to HK first? Wasting time. And if it is in HK, I'm really expecting somebody to spot it.

It will probably go to China via HK port. That's what has happened to many other cars.

Wow, Lukas, that's really awesome! It seems that all the rare exotics end up in China.
