Someone posted this same car in the last month or so.....it is good to see this car is enjoyed and loved so we all can see it and not be put up in some garage somewhere.

Steve McQueen had impeccable taste. He was the jay Leno of the 50s, despite leno's collection being far more vast he has great taste, and not in just one type or generation, he loves classics, modern cars , whatever he finds beautiful or exceptionally engineered. I find a lot of collectors, and I understand this i just personally wouldn't be this way, stick to very precise areas of the automotive world to collect. Like a lot of big collectors I know either have all modern cars, or all classic. All European, or all american. But it's the guys who spread it out and really have the truly great cars, regardless of decade or country of origin whose collections really stand out to me. I know one such man in my local car club who collects in such a way and god his garage is hands down the best I've ever seen in person. And such a nice guy, our local car club which consists of five or six ferraris(excluding him), a handful gallardos, a lot of Porsches, audis, and bimmers, yet he pulls up every meeting in an Enzo, carrera gt, f50, 288 gto, mclaren f1,ford gt, and more, gets out and is the nicest, most talkative guy at the meeting. Constantly having kids ride along with him on our drives, complimenting others in the group on our cars, really if you met him on the street you'd have no idea he was any more than your average business man. But Ill tell you what when he opens up his barn(high tech garage barn that is) it takes your breath away. He has a guy that details his cars once a month, I met him once and I felt bad thinking it, but I was definitely jealous. What I would do for that job, just getting to pull those beauties out of the barn, washing them by hand, that's just got to be an amazing experience. The guy does a great job though, I guess that's a given though lol /rant
