I hate it.
Today, I took my Civic to Autobell for a car wash, and on the way home, I noticed a silver fifth-generation (W221) Mercedes-Benz S 550 sitting in the Red Lobster parking lot while I was waiting for the light to turn green. It looked very custom. I could only see the back of the car, and I noticed it had a lip spoiler (in carbon or gloss black), black wheels, and a custom rear bumper. The badges had been painted black. However, I saw that there was a custom badge where the AMG badge would usually go. I looked at it in more detail and found that it said “Black Series.” It really surprised me. I knew that there is no such thing as an S-Class Black Series. I just thought to myself "Why?" all the way home.
I'm ok with debadging but don't add badges that shouldn't be there. It's basically trying to be something its not. But I mean if someone puts ferrari badges on a Prius i'm ok with that because its for the lols.

Our local Ferrari dealer had a Honda Ridgeline with a Maserati badge on it. I was in downtown one night and it drove by, and my friend was like, "Hey, where I can I buy one of those?". Once I told him it was fake, he said it was so stupid. I've also seen a base Ford Mustang with a Shelby badge on it and a Bentley with a Rolls-Royce badge.

The worst offenders are those people that put Bentley badges on Chrysler 300s

Hahaha :D... But not as bad as the Bentley badge I saw on a 90's Mitsubishi Mirage :D
ive seen a basic c63 with a black series amg badge on it that's not too bad as its a real c63 just don't know why you would put a black series badge on it
Personally I think it's a stupid thing to do. Most of the people that care about the badge on your car are people who know enough about cars to see that it's fake.
