Again I don't think they'd care.

no us = no one wanting to advertise on here. no ads = no money. no money = no more exotic spotter = lose lose situation. in order to avoid that, they listen to us.

I read through this entire thread and the main argument I saw was the fact that there were less likes on photos than there used to be. While I too have noticed less people on here in general, it just bothers me that people are still whining about likes and things like that. Why does it matter so much? You come on here to share your photos with people, not see how many people give it a "Like."

There's no point in sharing photos if they get little to no attention.

So likes are a form of attention? People could look at it and not bother to like it. Again, I just share the photos and don't really care if people like it much or not. If they do, great. If they don't, oh well. I still shared the spot and I know that at least someone is looking at it.

We have our own opinion and you have yours. We feel that likes mean attention and you don't. I respect your opinion.

Likes shouldn't be what drives you.

If anything it should be the comments that matter more as they can allow discussions about the cars or the photo.

I'm not "driven" by the likes. I prefer quality over quantity.

Sharing my photos isn't my favorite part of the site. My favorite part is being interactive with other users. Ive learned a great deal about cars from other users. Theres a lot of great people on here. Ive maybe spotted twice in my life, because of the city where I live. I can't stand around all day to take pictures of cars Ive already seen 3 times before. Sure I get excited when I get a spot. But I never have a mind blowing spot. Maybe one. but thats it. But I do like talking about cars with all of you and you guys come up with some great ideas.

exactly what will happen if we all stoo uploading until something is done within our needs!

I don't care at all about "likes" or spotter rank or anything like that. Hell, I still upload Bentley Continentals and Porsche's if they are interesting enough (even though I know nobody cares about those exotics on this site). That's telling you something.

The point is that this is an exotic spotter sharing site, and it has gotten stale. What's the point in logging in and sharing a shot if no one will bother to appreciate it? See where I'm going with this?

No, I actually don't really see where you're going. Even if they don't "Like" or comment on a photo, how do you know that people don't appreciate it? I will do that on occasion, just look at a spot without thinking to like or comment on it. Appreciation doesn't have to be publicly shown, it can be completely on the opposite end of the computer screen in a manner that you may not even see. So again, why does it even matter?

People don't tend to care about those exotics as much because frankly compared to others on here they're not that common and are posted more often then other cars. And again, how do you know that no one cares? My same point above also applies there too. I'll often look through the local spots and am interested to see what is there, even if it is just a Continental or something similar.

On a slightly unrelated note, I am seeing quite a bit of whining on this post, and not a lot of action. Whining will get you nowhere, you need to be the change that you desire. "Like" everyone else's photos that you want to and comment on them as well, and I wouldn't be surprised of others became more inclined to do the same.
