This site definitely getting less attention than it used to.
I admit I have been going on here a lot less than I used to. I have plenty of decent photos to post, but I really don't feel like it. Why? Because I know they will get little to no attention. I don't want to sound like I am just in it for the likes and popularity, but I feel like the site has lost its sense of community it had when I first joined.
Posts that may have gotten 20-30 likes, a couple favorites and some comments last year are now getting <10 likes and not another thought (if that makes sense). Call me captain obvious but, as stated above, lack of interest is probably to blame. But why the lack of interest? Idividuals having a recent lack of 'spots', couldnt be bothered to go online? New interests? Introduction of the forum?
This may sound a bit hypocritical, but I actually genuinely believe the introduction of the forum has deducted from the community, I feel like in some ways the forum is removing focus from the cars and photos, which is what the website is all about. I am, again, guilty myself. Guilty of visiting the forum more often than the photos and giving them no attention. Looking at the page thinking " nothing new or interesting here" and exiting.
I agree with previous statements. I feel like there should be changes to the site that keep interest. I feel like the whole thing should be modernized, forum toned down (maybe just focus on topics with spotting?), and the home page be a little but more than just the plain Jane all-thumbnail-in-basic-rows-same-size (more interesting? Bring more attention to recently posted spots?).
These are just opinionated sugegestions that not everyone may agree with, but everyone certainly will agree something needs to be done. Thank you,

Yes I agree we need to do something about the lack of members but I think we need to make up like a small list of like our top 5 ideas that could change ES mainly becuase just throwing ideas constantly out there will just make it more and more confusing for the mods or administrators reading it

It shows how low this site has gotten when my best photo I've ever taken got 36 likes and is on the most liked of the week page

That used to be filled with just 60-70+ liked photos...
I'm definitely gonna stop neglecting the site as much as I have been. I might even post a few pics later.

What really surprised me was when I uploaded the pictures of the Mclaren P1, and neither broke 80 likes. It was quite the shock to be honest. I was expecting at least 100 from those pictures. And the Aventador with flames shooting out the back got 80. I was expecting at least 100 for that as well.
