I don't know what happened, but for the past month, activity has indeed decreased drastically on this site.

I also noticed there were some great spots like Brandon's Veyron that only got about 40 likes.

Im telling you its summer. Everyone is out on vacation, playing sports, working etc…. I mean in the winter half of us don't see cars so were on here more often because we have less to do.

I used to go through and like just about everything when I started on this site. But once I became active on Flickr and saw truly amazing photos from photographers that aren't on here, I started to not pay much attention to the stuff on here. Now, I open the page for like a minute and only look at things if they stand out. Most times I just look, say eh, and then leave the site.

I think this site needs a makeover/refresh. I do not think there should be a 'featured' category. If a car is exotic enough to get onto the site, it should be as "out there" as the rest of the cars. I am not a professional photographer. I do not use a high-end expensive camera. But I still feel proud of some of my uploaded shots, but they MAYBE get 5-6 likes. If you aren't going to consider anyone else or their shots on this site, you can go join some private professional 5-star extreme exotic-spotting group if those are the only pictures you care about. This site also needs a change of attitude. 40% of the conversations now are about cars and spotting. I decide not to get caught up in this stupid arguing about what's exotic, what's not, etc. because it wastes my time. I joined this site looking for a nice car-spotting community website. It's turned very ugly in the past few months. I am 13 years old and I act more mature than many adults on this site. This site needs a change.

I'm uploading one picture tomorrow and if it doesn't go down well, then I think I'll take a break from this site.

I think ES could use a makeover, BUT... I think if the mods were friendlier it would attract more people, the mods don't even spot that much.
