They are more rare now because there are two new generations of this car. Ferrari owners for the most part get a new car as the new model comes out. It's the same same with a lot of car brands. You see more e92 3 series BMWs than you do e46s. I find it odd too but people like to have cars with wwarranties. You can buy an older Ferrari or BMW, or Audi an so forth for cheaper than the new ones but repairs are just as expensive and more frequent with used cars. So if you can afford a luxury car it's common to upgrade when new models present themselves because not only is it most of the time more appealing, financially it's certainly not less expensive but if you have to replace a transmission or am engine or a couple clutches on an older luxury car you will quickly close the gap financially between trading in your car for the newer generation
