Well guys, now I can proudly and officially say that Dubai Police has a Veyron!! How, just how does one beat that?! We now officially have a fleet of literally the fastest cars in the world!
Hope to catch one in the wild soon :)

I wonder what will be added next to there exotic police group.
Imagine if a Exotic is trying to run from the cops and they call the exotic police force out. Let's say they send the Aventador, One-77, SLS and FF and they try and box him in. You just as well can imagine how much it will cost to repair them if any damage occurs

There was actually one incident of a car robbery, where Dubai Police pulled off a stunt and the robbed car ran into a Dubai Police BMW, hence putting the chase to an end...But that was the extent of it...Imagine Dubai Police pulling that stunt with a One-77Q Series! Oh the humanity! :P

That is exactly what I was thinking! I was also thinking about how in car chases the police car sometimes does get damaged using a technique to stop the car (if needed) and that Dubai would rather use a cheaper car that is supercharged instead of an expensive (too repair also) foreign car!

@torontospots: That's true! I don't see the point of chases anyway...In Dubai, we have cameras everywhere..If you go above speed limit or drive recklessly, the cameras won't spare you...Why would you need to chase them then?

They need these in Dubai. 45% of Dubai is supercars which means a higher percentage of tickets and chases are in supercars, so they have to keep up. I'm actually surprised there only 1 Veyron.

Nice shot! I saw on many sites that the cars were just for tourism reasons. The police force claimed it made Dubai seem "classy" and that is why they keep getting the expensive cars. It also said that it wasn't true that they were used for high-speed chases. How much of this is true?

@YasirBhonjani its really amazing that women are also chosen to drive these machines. I read an article one morning of the lady that drives the FF. She says its a different sort of beast to her Toyota Land Cruiser and that she looks forward to work everyday. If I was her, I would also look forward to work.

It must be awesome to stay in Dubai and see all sorts of exotics, both normal and police type. Did you see the One-77 already?
