The ? of whether an event photo can be posted matters very much, and comes up from time to time, but without any progress towards a resolution. See above. Dictionary: EVENT: An occurrence... that is particularly significant, interesting, exciting or unusual. An organized occasion, function, or competition. Seems to allow for some wiggle room. Perhaps the mods, the rockers, & the admins get together, do some storm-draining, and come-up with a working definition of "event" for ES picture takers? Or maybe not? Perhaps the debate itself is enjoyable, and may be self-fulfilling, but for that to happen I think that a declaration is less useful than the reasons for that declaration. E.G. comments above, are plates or a red carpet factors to consider.

This is an event, the car does not have plates on it so it couldn't have randomly just showed up!
