I have not been able to find any info as to why the the other 8 were destroyed.

EDIT: I did find one article stating that the rest were destroyed either by racing or crashes by private owners.

absolutely love these, about time someone saw an ascari, so, so rare, one of them cars you simply dont see, ever. with a lottery win i probably still wouldnt be able to get myself a KZ1R one of the best spots in a very long time

You have no idea how excited I am to see another Ascari to be spotted! The last Ascari posted on here was from about 5 or 6 years ago. Again, congrats on the amazing find.
