However it was parked on the street in between a mini dealer and a Mercedes dealer but didn't have anything to do with the dealers.

There are some dealerships where parking on the street by the dealership is basically parking at the dealership. Manhattan Motorcars, Bentley Gold Coast, etc. I reserve judgement until I see the photo.
