So Im looking to upgrade from my Sony A3000 to a much better camera. The ones I've been looking at are the Canon 50d or 60d, Nikon D7000 and Sony A77ii. If any of you guys have these cameras, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the camera so far.

I have used a Sony a65, which is very similar to the a77, and is in my opinion the best reasonable DSLR there is.

I have a T3i. It seems like the 60D isn't too much different, so it should be good too.

well I have a Samsung wb350f
it might be small and might not take amazing pictures but u can get really lucky with them sometimes
most of my pics r taken with this and it also takes really nice parking garage shots
I recommend this too someone who needs a nice small camera ( 4 in long, 2 and a half inches tall) on a budget and wants a camera that is durable as hell
dropped it on concrete 3 times and only one small indention and the wheels to change setting

60d isn't to much different , apart from having a screen on the top and a slightly higher burst rate

I'd say try the new A7ii. Might be the ideal Carspotting camera due to its size, low profile, and high-ISO performance.

I´m going to use this thread to ask my question:

I've been using a Nikon D3000 for just over a year now, but I want to upgrade to something a bit better. I've been thinking about the D3200, a D5100 or a D90. Does anyone on ES have one of these, and if so, how do you like it?

I have a D3200. It works really well and that 24.2 MP really does help alot lol

I have a D3300. Basically what Howard said has been my experience lol. The base 18-55mm lens doesn't really work for distance shots though, so I'd recommend either the 55-200 or 55-300mm lens for distance.
