http://www.platecreator.com/ I got my plate from this site for around £13.49 (Which includes the message and badge at the side. I also got my nephew one with his name and a Tottenham Hotspurs badge.

Many of the UK based websites can send out these license plates to countries in the European Union and the states. I used http://www.platecreator.com/ for mine.
For the Classic style (Black background, silver embossed lettering), try this website. http://www.vintage-plates.co.uk/ They do send plates overseas too..
That vintage plates website only does pre-73 though and the other one only does modern. I'm trying to find a used British plate from 1982 with a plain, non custom, combination true to the year.

I have a big plate collection, my oldest one is a 1934 NJ, i also have 2 blue Calis, a numberplate from Oslo, and lots more!!!!!!!

Some really old people who loved cars (a lot of model t looking car pictures lining my garage wall) had my house before my parents bought it 4 years ago. There's like 20 plates in the shed that I never really looked at. I'll check them out tomorrow

Just recieved two more plates today, one from Kłodzko County (Lower Silesian Voivodeship) in Poland, and the other from the Moselle department of France. :)
