yes I did. it a canon eos rebel t3i. the real reason I made this post is I am going to Toronto tomorrow and I have never used a camera like this before. can anyone give me some tips and tricks they use if the have the same camera or a similar one?

Congrats! Since you haven't really had any experience with it, I'd suggest using auto flash off mode for tomorrow. (It's the icon right below the normal auto mode on the circle on your T3i)

After tomorrow, go to tv or M mode and play around with the settings to get the hang of it.

Can you message me what you see, wherever you go? I'm pretty sure there's not much out there now that it's really cold.

You could practice a few pannings of the cars that drive by. Speeds between 1/50 and 1/80 would be good speeds for beginners to the technique.

Where were the Ferrari dealers cars? On the main area visible through the window?
